The Embassy Suites has a block of rooms held for any one desiring to spend one or two nights there. The rate is $139 per night for a king bed or $159 for 2 double beds. These rates, plus about 11% tax, include a full breakfast each morning and a cocktail party each evening. To get these rates, reservations must be made prior to May 25th.We understand these rates can be reduced $10/night if you ask for the AARP discount.
The Embassy Suites has a courtesy van for transporting guests up to 2 miles from the hotel (this includes Yorktown Mall and Oak Brook Mall). Unfortunately, Downers Grove High School is 3 miles from the hotel.
Alternate Accommodations
Homestead Studio Suites Hotel, next door to the east from
Embassy Suites, is at 2701 Technology Dr. Phone number is
630-928-0202 (ext.5003) or 800-398-7829. Prices are $69.99 for a
Queen Studio or $79.99 for a Double Queen Studio, both plus tax.
We’ve been told these rates will be reduced by $10/night if
reservations are made on-line.
Hyatt Place is on the north side of Butterfield Rd. at Fountain
Square Dr, a stoplight. The address is 2340 S Fountain Square
Dr; phone 630-932-6501 or 888-492-8847. The hotel is located
next to Ethan Allen’s and behind Dick’s. The $99.00/night price
(plus tax) includes a daily continental breakfast. Check out the website using
